This article is for MediRecords users who are using the Heidi AI Scribe function.
It covers what to do if you are using the Heidi AI Scribe tool and the ‘visit’ or session ends before you have a chance to review and push the transcribed notes into Today’s Note.
Where possible, the system will detect that you have not pushed the transcribed notes over and will display a warning prompt.
For example: if you accidentally close the patient record and attempt to navigate to another patient record before pushing the note, the system will trigger a warning as follows.
Select “No” to cancel terminating your Heidi AI Scribe session without pushing the notes.
Select “Yes” to proceed with the action to terminate your Heidi AI Scribe session, without keeping a Heidi AI Scribe record of the consultation.
In some cases, the system may not be able to prompt a warning. How do I recover my transcribed notes?
The system will not prompt a warning to push the notes in the following scenarios:
- The user accidentally closes the MediRecords browser tab.
- The user refreshes the MediRecords browser tab.
- User has exceeded the allowable idle time in MediRecords and system automatically logs the User off.
Fortunately, your Heidi AI Scribe session will still be available in the Heidi Health website. You can login and recover the data saved into your sessions.
Login directly into Heidi AI:
Enter your Heidi AI login credentials:
Once you are logged in to Heidi AI, select “View sessions”
Your past sessions are displayed in Heidi AI
You can select “Copy” to manually copy the transcribed note, then navigate to the Clinical tab within a MediRecords patient record, to paste into the Today’s Note page.
