Follow these steps to Add a New Patient:
*Note: To create a new patient, you only need to complete the mandatory fields within the Demographic section. If you do not want to enter in any additional information, click Next five times to skip the other sections, until the green button displays Save, and then click the Save button to finish creating the new patient record.
1. From within the Patients homepage, click New Patient
2. This will open the New Patient form
3. Complete all required fields in the Demographic section
NOTE: (Not mandatory) We have added a new field for Preferred Pronouns
This new field is located near the current “Gender” field.
The selectable options include:
- He/Him
- She/Her
- They/Them
- Different Pronouns (use Notes)
If the field is populated, this value is shown in two other areas: the patient header and the patient tool tip area.
4. Click Next to proceed to the Social section
5. Update the Social form with any required details
6. Click Next to proceed to the Family History section
7. Update the Family History form with any required details
8. Click Next to proceed to the Settings section
9. Update the Settings form with any required details
10. Click Next to proceed to the Additional Section
11. Update the Additional form with any required details.
12. Click Save to complete
The new patient has now been added.
