MediRecords uses the patient's IHI Number (Individual Healthcare Identifier) to check if the patient has signed up for My Health Record. The system will fill in the patient's IHI number (if available) when OPV is used for the first time.
You can find this in the Patient Record > Details Tab > Settings.
My Health Record is located within Clinical in the patient record. When you open a patient's clinical record, the system automatically verifies if My Health Record is active, and the MHR Icon will show up in Blue, Orange, or Green, depending on your access level to the record.
