Who owns the documents that I upload to My Health Record?
When access is granted to a patient's My Health Record, the access is being granted to the clinic or practice, not the individual doctor or provider. This means that any doctor employed by that organisation can access the patient's My Health Record.Ownership of any and all health records created by a doctor, will always remain the property of the organisation where the doctor was working at the time it was created.
The Shared Health Summary is generally intended to be used by Healthcare providers, that can access and view information in a consultation or for investigation purposes.
