This article will cover how to navigate the Patient Dashboard and use of it's features.
The Patient Dashboard is located on the left-hand tab within the patient's record. Click Dashboard tab to open it.
The Patient Dashboard displays useful, up-to-date information about the patient.
The dashboard contains a list of suggested Preventative Health activities, and a Summary of the patient's most recent Medications, Immunisations, Medical History and Investigations.
To View a Full List of the Patient's Current Medications, click View Current Rx.
To View the Patient's Full Current Medical History, click View Current Dx.
To View All the Patient's Immunisations, click View Immunisations.
To View All the Patient's Investigations, click View Investigations.
The dashboard also hosts a Quick Action Toolbar, which allows you to quickly perform some of the most common tasks associated with a patient record.
Here is a list of the Quick Actions that can be performed from the toolbar:
To Write a Letter, click the Correspondence Icon to open the letter writer.
To Write a Medical Certificate Letter, click the Quick Medical Certificate Letter to open the template.
To Write a Special Letter (such as a referral), click the Quick Special Letter Icon to open the template.
To Write a Script, click the Quick Script Icon to open the prescription form.
To Create a Pathology Request, click the Pathology Icon to open the pathology request form.
To Create a Radiology Request, click the Radiology Icon to open the radiology request form.
To Create a New Consultation, click the Consultation Icon open the clinical consultation notes.
To Create a New Clinical Action, click the Clinical Action Icon to open the task form.
To Create a New Appointment, click the Calendar Icon to open the appointment form.
To Create an Invoice for the Patient, click the Invoice Icon to open the accounts form.
To View Secure Messaging, click the Messaging Icon to open the messages associated with the patient.
To Send a Patient an SMS, click the SMS on Demand Icon to open up the message window.
