Activities - Create New Tasks
In this article Activities, you will learn how to create, manage, edit and delete tasks from the Activities homepage.
Click Tasks to switch the Activities homepage over to the tasks view.
The Tasks page displays an overview of all outstanding tasks, which patient they relate to, the priority, status and due date.
To Add a Task, click New Task to open the activity form.
Fill in the form with all the required details, and click Save.
Whichever Owner you assign to the task to, the system will assign it to that user as an Activity. In the Assign To field, you can also choose to assign the task to a user, rather than a patient, and the system will create an activity for the assigned user as well as the owner.
To Edit a Task, click the Tick-box next to the name to reveal a list of options. Click Edit Task to open the activity form.
Update the task with all the required details, and click Save to apply the changes.
To Delete a Task, click the Tick-box next to name to reveal a list of options. Click Delete to permanently delete the activity from the patient's record.
Click Yes to acknowledge the activity will be deleted.
To Delete Multiple Tasks at Once, click the Tick-boxes next to the names of the activities to reveal a list options. Click Delete to permanently delete the activities from the patient's record.
Click Yes to acknowledge the activities will be deleted.
If you want to delete an activity, but still leave record of the booking on the patient's record, you can Cancel the activity instead.
To Cancel a Task, click the Tick-box next to the task to reveal a list of options. Click Status to reveal a drop-down list and click Cancelled. This removes the activity, but keep record of the booking on the patient's file.
Once an activity has been completed, it will need to be marked as completed. This closes the activity, removes it from the owners calendar, and keeps record of it on the patients file for future reference.
To Cancel Multiple Tasks at Once, click the Tick-boxes next the names to reveal a list of options. Click Status to reveal a drop-down list, and click Cancelled.
To Complete a Task, click the Tick-box next to name to reveal a list of options. Click Status to reveal a drop-down list, and click Completed to close the activity. This removes the activity from the calendar and keep record of it on the patient's file for future reference.
To Complete Multiple Tasks at Once, click the Tick-boxes next the names to reveal a list of options. Click Status to reveal a drop-down list, and click Completed.
