Welcome to the MediRecords Messaging.
This article has been written to give new users an informative overview of the Messaging module in the MediRecords. In this tutorial, you will learn how to configure your practice settings to receive secure messages. In the following parts, you will also learn how and assign reports, results, and other correspondence to users and patients from within the Holding Bay, and how to process results and correspondence in your Inbox.

Prerequisites
If you send and receive secure messages through Healthlink, you will first need to contact them and advise you want your messages sent to MediRecords. Please download and complete the Healthlink MediRecords Application form to begin transferring your Healthlink alias to MediRecords.
Once you have completed the form, please send it to the Support Team at Healthlink, which is assisting helping clinics migrate to MediRecords. If you have any questions, you can also contact Support by phone.

Once you have completed the transfer with Healthlink, you will be able to add your Healthlink alias to your Messaging Settings.
Messaging Tutorial - Part 1: Messaging Settings
You can configure your secure messaging settings from within Practice Configuration.
To open Practice Configuration, click More to reveal a drop-down list, and then click Settings.
Click Configuration Settings.
Click the Name of the practice.
Click Secure Messaging.
1. Healthlink
To upload your Healthlink Alias, first select the check box to the right of the title Healthlink.
Click Healthlink Alias and enter your Alias as provided by Healthlink.
Then click Save to apply the changes.
2. Medical Objects
To upload your Medical Objects information, first select the check box to the right of Medical objects.
Click Medical Objects GUID and enter your Medical Object GUID as provided by Medical Objects.
Click Medical Objects URL and enter your Medical Object URL
Using the URL provided below:
https://hd-402011b4-d16f-4f3b-b3e0-4e1c641e5c40-guid.moc.medical-objects.com.au/
Then click Save to apply the changes.
3. Fetch
To receive messages through fetch, simply select the check box to the check box to the right of Fetch.
Be sure to let your pathology company send the messages to MediRecords, through Fetch, using the the sfx address below:
Clinic ID: sfxmedir
Click Save to apply the changes
4. MQLink (Primary Health Care)
To receive messages through MQLink, simply select the check box to the check box to the right of MQLink.
As with Fetch, let your pathology send the messages to MediRecords, through MQLink, using the the MediRecords Site Information below:
Clinic ID: PTx.bmr99
Click Save to apply the changes
5. Clinical Labs (SMSC)
To receive messages through Clinical Labs, simply select the check box to the check box to the right of Clinical Labs.
Let your pathology provider know to send your messages to MediRecords through SMSC, using the MediRecords site information below, in addition to your provider number:
Clinic ID: stleo31
Click Save to apply the changes
6. AllTALK
To receive messages through AllTALK, simply select the check box to the check box to the right of AllTALK.
Let your pathology provider know to send your messages to MediRecords through AllTALK, using the MediRecords site information below, in addition to your provider number:
Clinic ID: TFMED
Click Save to apply the changes
Your secure messaging information has now been updated in MediRecords. In a couple of minutes, you will receive any pending secure messages in your message box or holding bay.
