Follow these steps to create a new invoice:
- From within the patient's record, click Accounts
- Make sure you are in the "Invoices" section
- Click New Invoice
- Select the Bill To, Provider, and Item Schedule
- Enter the Item Number/Service Name for the consultation
- The Item Number/Service name will appear in a drop-down menu. Select it
- To add more items, click Add Item
- Click Quick Pay to receive a quick payment by Cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card
- Click Print to print a copy of the invoice
- Click On Hold to place the invoice on hold
NOTE: Specialists and other providers who see patients on a referral basis will need to include a referral on the invoice. Valid Referrals will appear as a drop-down option below the provider
