Clinical - Past Consultations
In this article, you will learn how to review, amend and delete a patient's past consultations.
The Past Consultations page in a patient's clinical record displays a summary of the patient's past consultations, where it was held, the treating doctor and the reason.
To quickly filter past consultations from the summary, click Filter and select or search the Practice.
To search for a past consultation, click the Search box, and type in the first few letters of the reason. Press Enter and the system will display a list of the closest matches of conditions belonging to that patient.
To Amend a Past Consultation, click the Tick-box next to the name, and scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Amend.
An amendment form, similar to Today's Notes, will open below consultation notes.
Note: A scheduler is run every midnight to lock consultations. This looks at the date of creation rather than the consultation date to ensure users aren't locked out when creating notes for a past consult, and will also exclude any consultation created after 10 pm which will then be closed the following midnight.
Once the amendment has been added, click Save to apply the changes.
The amendment will now appear below the original consultation notes.
To Print a Consultation, click the Tick-box next to the name to reveal a list of options. Click Print to open the print preview screen.
Make sure it is going to the correct Printer, and check Pages, Layout and Color if necessary. Click Print to print the consultation.
