๐ Accessing Drug Recipes
1. Access the submenu options by clicking on More in the Navigation Menu to expand the list.

2. Click on Resources.

3. Click on Drugs.

4. Click on Recipes.

5. Review the Recipes grid list.

๐ Creating a New Drug Recipe
6. Click on New Recipe.

7. Complete all required fields relevant to the recipe you are creating.
โน๏ธ Below are the field names and their descriptions:
Strength: Enter the total prescription strength as a number only, without units (e.g., enter '250' for 250g). This is not the strength of individual ingredients.
Units: Indicates the unit of strength measurement (e.g., 'g' for 250g, 'ml' for 300ml).
Quantity: Enter the amount supplied in the initial prescription (e.g., 20 for a box of 20 tablets, 1 for a 300ml bottle)Form: Specify the form of the medicine (e.g., tablet, capsule, liquid).
Repeats: Enter the usual number of repeats, if applicable. This field is optional and can be left blank if repeats vary per prescription
Route: Select the administration routeโhow the patient takes the medication (e.g., IM = Intramuscular, SC = Subcutaneous).Restriction: Select the PBS restriction (e.g., Non-PBS, PBS/RPBS). This setting may trigger specific workflows like Authority. If unsure, check the medication on the PBS website - https://www.pbs.gov.au/pbs/home
Share: Defines whether this Drug Recipe can be used by others in your tenant or shared across tenants for prescribing.
Batch: Optional: Add a Batch number. It will apply to all prescriptions using this Drug Recipe until updated.
8. Complete all required fields relevant to the recipe you are creating.

โน๏ธ Below are the field names and their descriptions:
Generic Ingredient: This breaks down the ingredients in the recipe and will appear on the prescription below the Drug Recipe Name.
Generic Ingredient Strength: Enter the individual strength of each ingredient, without the unit (e.g., 260, not 260g).
Generic Ingredient Unit of Measurement: Enter the unit for the ingredient strength (e.g., 'g' for 250g)
9. Click Add to confirm.

โน๏ธ Repeat the steps 8-9 above to add more.
10. To edit your entry, check the box to select it.

11. Click on Edit.

12. Make any required changes.
13. Click Save to confirm your changes.

14. To delete your entry, check the box to select it.

15. Click the - symbol.

16. Click Save to finalise.

๐ Editing Drug Recipes
17. Utilise the search bar above the grid to find and select the specific Drug Recipe you want to edit.

โน๏ธ You can only edit Drug Recipes youโve created, not those created by other users.
18. Alternatively, click the filter option to narrow down your search.

19. Filter by Private or Practice shared recipes to locate the specific Drug Recipe you want to edit.

20. Select the checkbox beside the Drug Recipe you want to edit.

21. Click on Edit Recipe.

22. Make the necessary changes where applicable.
23. Select Save to finalise and apply the changes made.

24. Click Yes to confirm the data update.

๐Preview a Drug Recipe
25. Check the box next to the entry you want to preview.

26. Select Preview Recipe located above the grid list.

27. Preview will appear.
28. Click on x symbol to close.

๐ Deleting a Drug Recipe
29. Check the box next to the entry you want to delete.

30. Click on Delete.

31. Click on Yes to confirm.

๐ Managing Drug Recipe Status
32. Check the box next to the entry you want to deactivate.

33. Click on Update Status.

34. Click on Deactivate.

35. To activate a Drug Recipe, click on the filter.

36. Click on Inactive.

37. Check the box next to the entry you want to activate.

38. Click on Update Status.

39. Click on Activate

๐ Cloning a Drug Recipe
40. Check the box next to the entry you want to clone.

โน๏ธ Cloning is useful if other users have created drug recipes you want to copy. Once cloned, you can edit your own version.
41. Click on More.

42. Click on Clone.
