Overview
The Global Requests Grid displays all Pathology & Radiology requests created within the tenant, allowing easy tracking of outstanding requests for follow-up with patients or laboratories.

đ Accessing the Requests Global Grid
1. From the Navigation menu, click Workflows.

2. Click on Requests.

3. By default, the grid displays investigations created on the current day.

đ Setting Customised Filters to Enhance Your Search
4. To expand the view, click the Calendar icon above the grid.

5. Make your selection where appropriate.

6. Click Apply to save these changes.

7. A list of patients will appear based on the selected date range.

8. Alternatively, you can use the navigation arrows above the grid to select your date, allowing you to navigate forward or backward by day

âšī¸ If you select a pre-set date range, as indicated in steps 4-6 above, these arrows will be disabled.
9. As an alternative option, you can click Filter on the right side of the grid, above the list.

10. Make your selections as needed.

âšī¸ Requested By Filter: This filter lets you select whether to view all requests or only those requested by a single provider or multiple specific providers.
Practice Filter: By default, this displays the current practice. You can add multiple practices here.
Type Filter: This field allows you to choose between Pathology or Radiology requests. Leave it blank to view all types.
Status Filter: This filter enables you to search by the status of the request. Leave it blank to view all statuses.
Priority Filter: This filter allows you to view requests by their assigned priority status. Leave it blank to see all priorities.
11. Click on Apply to confirm.

đ Updating Request Statuses in the Global Grid
12. To manually update the status of a request, click the drop-down arrow next to the request in the Status column.

13. Select from the available options that appear.

âšī¸ This status will also update when the user links it to the request after receiving results from the Secure Messaging | Provider Inbox and selects the appropriate status.
14. To bulk update the status of multiple requests, you can check the box next to each request individually or select the top box to choose all.

âšī¸ You can bulk update requests at once, provided they display the same status during selection.
15. Click on the drop-down arrow next to Status located above the grid

16. Select the appropriate option from the displayed choices.

đ Creating Clinical Actions for Follow-Up Activities in the Global Requests Grid
17. Click the ellipsis to the far right of the request listed in the grid.

18. Click on Create Clinical Action.

19. Click the drop-down arrow in the Assignee field

20. Select the appropriate option from the populated list

âšī¸ The Assignee field will automatically default to the user creating the clinical action.
User: Enables assignment of this action to an individual user.
User Group: Enables assignment of this action to a group, allowing multiple users in that group to follow up.
21. Begin typing the name of the User or User Group to select from the list.

22. Confirm by making your selection from the list

âšī¸ Complete all other fields as needed, or leave them as defaults or blank if appropriate.
23. In the Description field you can leave a note for the Assignee if required.

24. Click on Save to confirm.

âšī¸ The Clinical Action has now been created and will now be visible in the Patient Record under the Activities tab and in the Activities main screen for the Assignee to take action.
đ Deleting a Request
âšī¸ When deleting a request from the Global Grid, please note that it will also be removed from the Patient's Record under Investigation Requests.
25. Click the ellipsis to the far right of the request listed in the grid.

26. Click on Delete.

27. Click on Yes to confirm.

28. A pop-up will appear confirming the successful deletion.

29. Alternatively, you can delete multiple requests by ticking the box next to each request individually or by selecting the top checkbox to select all.

30. Click on the Delete button located above the grid list.

31. Click Yes to confirm.

đ Printing a List of Requests
32. Check the top box to select all.

33. Click on the Print List button located above the grid.

34. The print view will appear. Select your destination and click Print to confirm.

âšī¸ In the Global Grid List, clicking on the Patient's name will open the Patient Record, while clicking on the Test Name will take you directly to the request in the Patient Record under Investigation Requests.
