đ Publishing a Result to Engage from the Secure Messaging Inbox
1. Click the Messages icon located in the top MediRecords header bar.

2. Select an unchecked result in the Provider Inbox, then click the Checked button.

âšī¸ Alternatively, to speed up the process, you can select Check & Mark Normal when marking a result as normal.
3. Where applicable, select the appropriate option from the available Result Outcome choices.

4. A pop-up will appear indicating that checking this result will publish it to Engage and make it visible to the patient. Review the available options and select the appropriate action.

âšī¸ Available Options:
Cancel â Returns you to the Inbox without checking the result.
Check and Mark as Confidential â Checks the result and marks it as confidential. It will be hidden from other users in MediRecords Care and the patient in Engage. This can be unmarked and published later from the results grid if needed.
Check but do not Publish â Checks the result without publishing it to the patient. Other users in Care can still see it. This is useful if the provider wishes to discuss the result with the patient before sharing. It can be published later from the results grid.
Check and Publish â Checks the result and publishes it immediately to Engage for the patient to view.
If a patient is not activated for Engage, on checking the result it will move into the patient grid immediately without the publication pop-up displayed.
5. Click on Check and Publish.

6. A confirmation pop-up will appear, indicating the result has been checked and is now visible to the patient in Engage.

Patient not connected to Engage: The patient must be invited and activate their account to use this option.
Confidential records cannot be published: Unmark the record as confidential to publish.
