đ How Prescribed Medications Are Published to Engage
This flow follows the standard process for prescribing medications in MediRecords Care.
1. Click on Prescribe within the New Rx workflow.

2. Choose ePrescribe (eRx) or Prescribe (Paper) to generate the prescription.

âšī¸ When selecting either of these options, the medication will be automatically published to Engage and become visible to the patient.
Continue following the usual steps when generating a prescription.
Medications will not publish in Engage when in the following statuses:
- Draft
- Cancelled
3. From the Current Rx grid, hover over the 'i' icon to confirm if the medication has been published to Engage.

đ Unpublishing a Medication from within Engage
There is no option to unpublish a prescription; however, marking it as Confidential will ensure it is not visible to the patient.
4. Tick the checkbox next to the medication you want to mark as confidential.

5. Click on Edit.

6. Click on Next.

7. Tick the box where it says Confidential.

8. Click on Next.

9. Click on Prescribe.

10. Click on Save to confirm changes.

âšī¸ This action will hide the medication from the patient in Engage and make it inaccessible to other users in MediRecords Care.
