Cervical screening is an important part of preventive healthcare for female patients, and MediRecords makes it simple to manage these results within the patient record. The Cervical Screening section provides a clear summary of all recorded smears, displaying key details such as dates, results, HPV status, endocervical cell presence, performing doctor, and any clinical comments noted at the time of the procedure. This ensures clinicians have quick access to vital information during follow-up care or when planning future investigations.
Within this section, you can add new results, edit or delete existing ones, and apply filters to view specific outcomes like HPV or endocervical results. Clinicians also have the option to make records confidential or assign tasks to team members for follow-up, helping practices maintain continuity of care and compliance with screening programs. By managing cervical smear records efficiently, MediRecords supports timely decision-making and improves patient safety through consistent record-keeping.
