Have a practice identifier you need to store but can't find a free field? This is where Custom Fields comes in! You can store up to 50 fields at a time, and control their appearance as well as whether they are mandatory for all patient records. 

The Challenge Without Custom Fields Without Custom Fields, practices are unable to add their own data fields to capture information unique to their organisation or workflow. This limits flexibility and often results in delays, as teams must wait for product changes or feature releases to support their needs.

Flexible Tools for Smarter Data Capture

Create up to 50 Custom Fields in different formats, such as tick boxes, free-text inputs, and date pickers, to capture the data your practice needs. When a field is no longer relevant, simply deactivate it without losing the information stored within it.

Configurable Field Types Configure custom fields as mandatory or optional, with support for text, number, date picker, and checkbox input types. Once created, these fields appear within the patient’s record in the Additional section under Details.

Mail Merge Integration Custom fields can also be used as mail merge fields within the Letter Editor, allowing you to automatically insert custom data into patient correspondence for a more personalised experience.
