The Unavailable appointment type is a designated period where providers can mark themselves as unavailable. This feature enables MediRecords users to promptly set up ad hoc unavailability without having to modify their session settings.
You can create, edit, manage, or delete the Unavailable appointment type in the same manner as any other appointment type.
To create an Unavailable appointment timeslot:
- Click New Appointment, or click the timeslot to open the appointment.
- Click Unavailable at the top of the new window that appears
- Click Provider and select the user who needs the unavailable timeslot.
- Complete the form with all the required details
- Click Save to complete
The unavailable time slots have now been added to your appointment calendar.
