This article will cover how to modify recently completed consults and non current consults using the Past Consultations tab.
Amending the Most Recent Consultation
When returning to Today's Notes after a consult, a confirmation box to begin amending the most recent consul will appear.
Click Yes to amend the current consult or click No to begin a new consultation, archiving the current consultation under Past Consultations.
Add notes as per a normal consultation and click Finish
*NOTE: All notes will auto save after a short delay.
You are able to return and add to the notes until you create a new consultation.
Amending Past Consultations
Click on Past Consultations
Click the Tick-box next to the consult record and click Amend.
An amendment form, similar to Today's Notes, will open below consultation notes.
*NOTE: The Observation, Examination, Drawer and Procedure tools are available for use when making an amendment. However, if the consultation is more than 24 hours old, you cannot change the Reason, or alter the text in the original consultation notes.
Once the amendment has been added, click Save to apply the changes.
The amendment will now appear below the original consultation notes.
