How to Use the Wait-list
This article will explain how the appointments wait-list is used, how to add and remove patients from the wait-list, and how to transfer a wait-listed patient into a free or cancelled appointment slot.
In MediRecords, patients can be added to the wait-list from a current appointment. As a result, each patient wishing to join the wait-list must have an appointment in the appointments calendar to be visible on the Wait-List.
To access the wait-list, create or open an appointment and click Wait-List.
Each appointment added to the wait-list will be visible.
To add a patient to the wait-list, click the Tick-Box next to Join Wait-list in an existing or new appointment, and click Save.
To book a wait-list patient into an existing appointment, open the existing appointment, click Wait List, select the Patient wait-listed, and click Save.
The original appointment for the wait-listed patient will overwrite the existing appointment.
To remove a patient from the wait-list without moving the appointment, open the patient appointment, deselect the Tick-Box next to Join Wait-List, and click Save.
