This article will cover the different ways to access the New Task form and how to create a new task in MediRecords.
There are several pages from where a new task can be created:
- Activities Screen
- Patient Record
- Quick Links
Activities Screen
- Click the Clipboard Icon in the MediRecords menu ribbon to open Activities.
- Click Tasks then click New Task.
- Whichever Owner you assign the task to, the system will assign it to that user as an Activity. In the Assign To field, you can also choose to assign the task to a user, rather than a patient, and the system will create an activity for the assigned user as well as the owner.
- Fill in the form as required and click Save.
Patient Record
- After Opening a Patient Record, click Activities.
- Click Tasks then New Task.
- Whichever Owner you assign the task to, the system will assign it to that user as an Activity. Since the task was created directly from the Patient record, this task can only be assigned to that patient.
- Fill in the form as required and click Save.
Quick Links
- Click + Task on the Quick Links bar from anywhere in MediRecords.
- Whichever Owner you assign the task to, the system will assign it to that user as an Activity.
- Fill in the form as required and click Save.
*NOTE: Tasks created from the Quick Links bar can only be regarding patients.
