Contact Types Explained
MediRecords allows you to store external contacts information in a directory format. This allows for easy access to details for situations when you need to correspond with different types of professionals.
This tutorial will briefly explain the section and the types involved.
1. Click on More and select Resources.
2. Click on Contacts.
3. You will see that there are two categories: Service Providers and Health Professionals.
A Service Provider is a company or group that can provide services for your practice, such as a Radiology or Pathology Unit.
A Health Professional is an individual that is in contact with you or your practice, and can provide a service to patients, such as a Specialist or Consultant.
