How Do I Setup Secure Messaging?

MediRecords is integrated with several secure messaging vendors, and allows you to receive investigation results, as well as send and receive correspondence. 
This article will step you through configuring each of the secure messaging carriers. 
To access the Secure Messaging configuration settings, follow these steps:

1. Click More
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Configuration Settings
   
   
   
   
4. Within Configuration Settings, click on the practice that you wish to configure the secure messaging settings.
   
   Note that if you have multiple clinics you wish to send/receive for, you will need to repeat these steps for the other clinics too.
   
   
5. Click Secure Messaging
   
   

This tutorial will now focus on instructions for each vendor.

Healthlink

Please complete the Healthlink MediRecords Application form to register to use their service.

NOTE: If you were already sending and receiving secure messages through Healthlink in a different software, you will still need to contact them and advise you want your messages sent to MediRecords. 

A member of the MediRecords team will contact and inform you of your Healthlink alias (EDI). Once you have received this email, please perform the following steps:

1. Select the check box to right of Healthlink.
2. Enter your provided alias next to Healthlink Alias.
3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Medical Objects

Please contact Medical Objects to register to use their service. Once Medical Objects have informed us of your successful registration, we will provide your GUID to you in an email. You can then, perform the following steps:

1. Check the box to the right of Medical Objects.
2. Next to the Medical Objects URL, enter the following URL: 

Old Customers:
https://hd-402011b4-d16f-4f3b-b3e0-4e1c641e5c40-guid.moc.medical-objects.com.au/hl7/

New Customers:
https://hd-9b3bfb70-0971-45d0-a92c-0d6f07cc0250-guid.moc.medical-objects.com.au/hl7/

3. In the Medical Object ID field, enter your GUID as follows -

Namespace^4BE22910-5662-4412-8C1C-5C2F289BE3ED^GUID

for example :

Namespace - Thush Clinic

Guid - D2DEAFG-5BF8-3FT3-9B02-44E519DAA1BW

You would enter your Medical Object ID as -

Thush Clinic^D2DEAFG-5BF8-3FT3-9B02-44E519DAA1BW^GUID

Note: Namespace and GUID will be in the email sent to you for your configuration.

4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Fetch, MQLink (Primary Health Care), Clinical Labs (SMSC) & AllTALK 

Fetch, MQLink, ClinicalLabs and AllTALK can all be configured to receive investigation results simply by ticking the relevant box, then clicking Save.

NOTE: You must inform your pathology/radiology providers that you need the messages to be sent to MediRecords. You may also be asked for a clinic ID or site information relevant to the secure messaging vendor that they use. Please see the required information to provide below if asked.
