How to Set Up Secure Messaging
MediRecords is integrated with a variety of secure messaging vendors, and has been designed for you to easily update your practice settings to receive secure messages.
Click More and select Settings.
Click Configuration Settings.
Within Configuration Settings, click on the practice that you wish to configure the secure messaging settings. In this tutorial, MediRecords Admin as an example practice.
Click Secure Messaging.
You will be brought to the Secure Messaging settings screen for that practice.
This tutorial will now focus on instructions for each of the vendors.
i. Healthlink
*NOTE: If you send and receive secure messages through Healthlink, you will first need to contact them and advise you want your messages sent to MediRecords. Please download and complete the Healthlink MediRecords Application form to receive your Healthlink alias to MediRecords. Once completed, send it to the Support Team at Healthlink using the following details:

A member of the MediRecords team will contact and inform you of your alias (EDI) when processed. Once you have received it, perform the following steps:
Select the check box to right of the title Healthlink. Click Healthlink Alias and enter your alias. Then click Save to apply the changes.
ii. Medical Objects
Note: Similar to Healthlink, you will need to contact Medical Objects and receive your GUID.
Medical objects can be contacted on: https://www.medicalobjects.com/contact-us/
To upload your Medical Objects information, first check the box to the right of Medical Objects.
Enter your Medical Object GUID into the Medical Objects GUID field.
Next, click Medical Objects URL and enter the following URL:
https://hd-402011b4-d16f-4f3b-b3e0-4e1c641e5c40-guid.moc.medical-objects.com.au/hl7/
Click Save to apply the changes.
Contact Medirecords Support via email at support@medirecords.com with your Medical Object URL and GUID and we will proceed in finalising your set up. We will then email you once this has been completed.
iii. Argus
To receive messages via Argus, firstly register at https://telstrahealth.com/argus by completing a registration form via the link at the bottom of the web page. When you have completed the registration, check the box to the right of Argus in the Secure Messaging screen. You'll then need to enter the information regarding your user name and password given to you at the time of registration. To ensure the credentials are correct and the connection to Argus is functioning, you will need to validate the account settings via the validate button to the right.
iv. Fetch
To receive messages through Fetch, check the box to the right of Fetch.
Be sure to let your pathology company know to send the messages to MediRecords, through Fetch, using the sfx address below:
Clinic ID: sfxmedir
Click Save to apply the changes
v. MQLink (Primary Health Care)
To receive messages through MQLink, check the box to the right of MQLink.
You must inform your pathology to send the messages to MediRecords using the MediRecords Site Information below:
Clinic ID: PTx.bmr99
Click Save to apply the changes
vi. Clinical Labs (SMSC)
To receive messages through Clinical Labs, check the box to the right of Clinical Labs.
Let your pathology provider know to send your messages to MediRecords through SMSC, using your provider number and the MediRecords site information below:
Clinic ID: stleo31
Click Save to apply the changes
vii. AllTALK
To receive messages through AllTALK, simply select the check box to the right of AllTALK.
Let your pathology provider know to send your messages to MediRecords through AllTALK, using your provider number and the MediRecords site information below:
Clinic ID: TFMED
Click Save to apply the changes
You've completed another MediRecords Tutorial. You should now be able to configure your secure messaging settings for your practice(s) with our integrated vendors in MediRecords.
