Internet browsers have a feature called Auto-fill which detects and stores information entered in text fields, and later suggests that information in similar fields. Given MediRecords is browser based, our recommendation is that Auto-fill is always switched off in your browser's settings to avoid the risk of patient data being mistakenly added to incorrect records.
To switch off Auto-fill in Chrome, please do the following:
- Click the Chrome menu icon. (Three dots at top right of screen.)
- Click on Settings.
- In the "Autofill" section, click Addresses and more, and toggle the setting to OFF. The system will automatically save your settings.
To switch off Auto-fill in Safari, please do the following:
- Click on the Safari menu.
- Click on Preferences.
- Choose AutoFill.
- Uncheck “Using info from my Contacts Card/Address Book Card” and “Other Forms”
- Click Done.
