You can now electronically sign PDF letters directly within MediRecords. It’s a simple, secure, and paperless way to keep your workflow moving.
Follow the steps below to electronically sign a letter successfully.
- Open patient file
- Go to Clinical Section
- Open New Letter
- Fill out the details and save the letter
- Now select the template you require
- Fill in all necessary details
- Go to the signature field
- Click on the signature icon > Add Signature

A pop up window will open with three different options - Type/ Draw and Image upload
Type - type out your signature (name) in the Signature field and select a font style.
If you want to save your signature for future purposes, select Save or/and click Insert to add it to the letter.
(Go to point 10)Draw - Simply draw your signature with your mouse.
Select Save if you want to save it for future purposes or/and click Insert to add it to the letter.

Image Upload - Upload your image from a folder on your computer.
Click on Image upload > Select File > Select the folder > select your signature image > Insert. - Once you click insert, the signature image will appear on the letter.
- Click on the image to resize it
- Then drag and drop it into the signature field.
- All your saved signatures will be available under the image folder option.
- In future, to select a saved signature, select the Image Folder > Select the signature from the options under uploaded files and click insert.
- To complete your letter, go to file and select save.
