The Text and Font Toolbar gives you full control over how your letters look and read, helping you present information clearly and professionally. From adjusting fonts and alignment to inserting tables, images, and custom fields, the toolbar offers a wide range of formatting tools similar to those used in Today’s Notes. Formatting Toolbar
The Text and Font Toolbar is located at the top of the letter writer.
The toolbar is used for formatting text in the letter writer and is very similar to the toolbar in Today's Notes. You can select predefined text formats, align text to either the left or right or the center of the page, use bullet points or numbered lists, insert hyperlinks and images, use subscript or superscripts, insert tables, view the letter in HTML format and change the font and size of the text.
Text Formatting
The first section of the toolbar (Format) allows you to easily switch between several predefined text formats. Click Format to reveal a drop-down list of text formats, and click to select the Font.
Font Changes
To change the font to either Bold, Italic or Underline, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
To change the font, click Font to reveal a drop-down list of fonts.
To change the text size, click Size to reveal a list of text sizes.
Text Alignment
To align the text Left, Right, Center, or Justify (edge to edge), click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Creating Lists
To insert Bullet Points, Numbered Lists, or Indent Text, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Inserting Hyperlinks & Images
To insert a Hyperlink and Image, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Subscript & Superscript
To switch to Subscript or Superscript, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Text Colours
To change a text's Colour, click on the corresponding icon on the toolbar
Creating a Table
To insert a Table, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
You can also select Table Wizard if you want to insert a more specific and more detailed table.
Viewing the HTML Code
To view the letter in HTML Format, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar.


Creating a Snippet
To toolbar also has a section called Snippets, which is for inserting commonly used snippets of text (for example, "This letter is private and confidential and should only be viewed by the recipient") into letters.
Click Snippets to reveal a list of snippets.
Undo & Redo Changes
To Reverse changes or Redo changes, click on the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Page Layout
To change the Page Layout, click on the dropdown to reveal options. Layout is 100% in default.
Creating a Custom Field
For Custom Field, click on the corresponding icon on the toolbar.
Custom Field gives you the option to insert Text, Numeric, List, Dropdown, Date, Logical, and Checkbox.
To add a Text Box, select Text and click Insert.
This will create a Text Box on the page where you can type in free text.
To add a numbers, select Numeric and click Insert.
You can select the up and down arrow to change the number value.
To create a list, select List, create a list name, click on Add to add items you want to add to the list, and click Insert.
To insert a dropdown, click on Dropdown under the Field Type. Click on + sign, and then add options for a list you wanted to include under the dropdown, click Insert.
To insert a calendar with the dates to choose from, select Date and click Insert.
This is how it should look like when you use Date under Custom Field.
To use logical, select Logically and click Insert.
A tick box with a word next to it will show. This will be in "No" by default, but if you click on the tick box, the status will change to "Yes".
To insert a checkbox, select Checkbox and click Insert.
