Checking in a patient, also referred to as arriving a patient, means adding them to the Waiting Room once they arrive at the practice for their appointment. This makes them visible to staff and Providers so they can be moved through to consultation and billing.

Checking In a Scheduled Patient
If a patient has a booked appointment, check them in from the Appointment Calendar:

- Click the "+" sign to add the selected patient to the Waiting Room.
- The selected patient will now be visible in your Waiting Room.
