The Attachments page within Admissions allows you to easily add, view, manage, and print files linked to a patient’s admission record. Because attachments are shared across both Admissions and Primary Care, any file added in one module will also be visible in the other, ensuring consistency and accessibility throughout the patient’s record.

Accessing and Viewing Attachments in Admissions and Primary Care
To manage Attachments for a patient’s Admission, open the Admissions module from the patient record and click the Attachments tab in the sub-menu to view all linked files. These are also accessible from the Clinical tab in Primary Care, as Attachments are shared between both modules.
From the Admissions Tab:
Uploading an Attachment
- To upload an attachment, click on Admissions from the menu, select the Patient name, go to Attachments, and click New Attachment.

- This will open the Attachments window. Select the relevant category from Admissions History, Admissions Notes, Assessments, Charting, or Demographics.
- Click Select Files and choose the file from your computer or network.
- Click Attach.
- This has now been attached to the Admission record of the patient.
Filtering Attachments
In the Attachments tab within the Primary Care module, use the Filter dropdown to search attachments by uploader name or upload date.
This allows you to quickly locate specific attachments based on who added them or when they were uploaded.
Deleting Attachments
To delete an attachment, navigate to the Attachments within the Admission Tab, click the more options icon (⋮) next to the file, select Delete, and confirm the deletion when prompted.
Note: Deleted attachments are permanently removed from both Admissions and Primary Care views
Printing Attachments
To Print an attachment, go to the Attachments section within the Admission tab, click the more options icon (⋮) next to the file, and select Print to open it in a new tab for printing or saving. Use your browser’s print function (e.g., press ctrl+p on Windows or cmd+p on Mac) to print or save the file.
