When sending some vaccine claims to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR), you may notice that the Dose changes after submission. This change is coming directly from the AIR. It is expected to behave this way, and you do not need to do anything once this occurs.
Dose Set to V
The Dose V is used when submitting a claim for individuals over 20 years of age, and will replace any Dose values entered by a user.
If submitting for a patient under the age of 20, the Dose will not be updated by AIR, and your user-entered Dose will be used instead.
This is by AIR specifications.
Dose Set to B
The Dose B is used when submitting a claim for a baby shortly after the baby's birth.
