Introduction
Snapforms is a secure digital forms solution that enables clinics and providers to streamline patient registration, intake, referrals, consent, and assessments. With MediRecords practice management integration, Snapforms can automatically create new patient files or update existing ones based on form responses, ensuring accurate records and reducing administrative effort.
This article will outline how the Snapforms integration works, how to get started with your API key, and where to go for troubleshooting and support.
Integration Workflow
- When a patient submits a completed form, it’s automatically synced to their file in your MediRecords account.
- Got a new patient? No problem! Once they submit an intake, registration, or referral form, a new patient file is automatically created in your MediRecords account with all their details filled in.
- Existing patient files can also be automatically updated via forms that are connected to MediRecords.
- For both new and existing patient files, you’ll find a PDF copy of the form and any uploaded documents in their Clinical Correspondence records.
Getting Started with SnapForms
- To integrate your SnapForms with MediRecords, you will first need a Connect API Key. If you do not yet have an API Key, reach out to your Customer Success Manager for further information. If you are not sure who your Customer Success Manager is, reach out to success@medirecords.com.
- Create an account with SnapForms and configure your forms with your API Key. There may be costs associated with this from SnapForms. For instructions on creating your form, please visit this guide from SnapForms.
Troubleshooting SnapForms
If you are finding that patient files are being created erroneously or information is missing after creation, reach out to SnapForms in the first instance to check the mapping in your forms, to ensure it is not overwriting the information in MediRecords. As the configuration comes from SnapForms directly, MediRecords is unable to asses and resolve these issues on your behalf, as the settings are only available on your own SnapForms account.
