Accessing Past Consultations in MediRecords allows Providers to quickly review a patient’s clinical history, including where each consultation was held, the treating Provider, and the reason for the visit.
Past Consultations can also be filtered, searched, printed, and amended when necessary, helping Providers track progress and avoid unnecessary duplication of care.

Sanitised Content Warning in Past Consult Notes
You may see this message when opening a past consultation note:
Cause: MediRecords checks consult notes for unsafe or unknown content, such as text pasted from external programs like Word, content added via the API, or older notes with unsupported formatting. If this is detected in a past consultation, MediRecords automatically cleans it to protect your data. As a result, some formatting, links, or images may now appear as plain text.
Resolution: This is expected, automatic behaviour and does not indicate a fault with the record. Because past consults are read‑only, the cleaned note cannot be edited or adjusted, but the underlying clinical content is preserved. No action is required.
