The error reads "Duplicate of service already paid. If not duplicate resubmit with appropriate indication".
What does this error mean?
This type of error code comes up if there was more than one service performed for the client on the same day with the same item number and the same practitioner.
How do I resolve this error?
If the service offered was not a duplication open the item on the invoice, tick the Not Duplicate Service option, add the Exact Time of Service, any comments you require and click Save. An updated Medicare Claim Form will open in a new tab. Tick the box beside the rejected service, and click Re-Submit.
