Patient Demographic Dashboard

The Patient Demographic Dashboard gives your practice a clear, visual snapshot of who your patients are and where they come from. It brings together age and gender distribution, new patient growth over time, and patient location into a single view, making it a useful tool for both practice planning and understanding your patient base at a glance.

Accessing the Patient Demographic Dashboard

To access this dashboard:

1. Navigate to More, then select Reporting, then Patients. 
   
    

2. Click on Patient Demographic Dashboard. 

   

   
    

Using the Dashboard

Select the Practice you want to report on, then tick either All Patients or Active Patients. The dashboard updates as soon as you tick your selection.

Age Range

Shows the number of patients in each age bracket, from under 10 through to 90 and over, split by gender (Male, Female, Other, and Unknown), so you can see the age and gender profile of your patient base at a glance.

New Patients

Shows the number of new patients registered each month, with the current year plotted against the previous year so you can track growth trends over time.

Patients by Postcode

Shows an interactive map of where your patients are located, making it easy to see where your patient base is concentrated geographically.

Exporting the Dashboard

The dashboard can be exported to PDF or Excel for further analysis or record-keeping.
