Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an important extra layer of security to your MediRecords account, by requiring users to verify your identity with both a password and a unique six-digit code sent to your email address. This helps protect sensitive patient and practice information from unauthorised access, even if a password is compromised.

Enabling MFA
When you have completed the above step, follow the instructions below to enable MFA:
- Click on More in the side navigation
- Click on Settings in the More menu

Select Configuration .
- Click on Care System Configuration.

Open the MFA tab
ℹ️ Note: If you do not see the MFA tab, you will need to reach out to the Customer Success Team to have MFA enabled for you. You can reach them on success@medirecords.com.
- Tick the Multi-Factor Authentication option
- Click Save
- You will receive a confirmation prompt confirming that your configuration was successful. Click OK.
